Dog Eat Dog Restaurant – BrewDog’s Boozy Hungry Child

Dog Eat Dog is the latest BrewDog outlet on Essex road, in Angel. BrewDog have infused their award winning beer with gourmet hot dogs and have created a hip diner to rival the gourmet burger diners that are popping up all over the city!

Dog Eat Dog offers a section of frankfurters and hot dogs, giving you a choice of beef, pork or veggie with a lot of scrumptious toppings and sauces.

The Hot Dog that caught my eye was the voodoo black sausage, a Cajun spiced and rum washed pork sausage with a pineapple salsa, the onions are dressed with a spicy mustard sauce. It’s certainly for the brave. Of course for those more traditional, you can opt for the house dog where you choose your own toppings, creating your own master piece! I highly recommend the sweet potato fries, I will happily say they are the best sweet potato fries I have had to date.

For the BrewDog fans, I am happy to report that the BrewDog favourites are all on offer including the Punk IPA, a modern classic in my eyes. For the non-drinkers you can go for the unlimited refills on a selection of their craft sodas, which include old-school colas, fruit sodas, root beers and ginger beer.

Those with a sweet tooth may be slightly disappointed as they have a very limited desert menu, consisting of only cookies and ice-cream.

However saying that carnivores and beer lovers you won’t want to miss an evening out at Dog Eat Dog.
