Doughnation Pizza, Covent Garden

Doughnation Pizza, located inside 3 Henrietta Street in the heart of Covent Garden, offers a fresh and modern take on the classic London pizza experience.

A breath of fresh air from the Covent Garden bustle, the space has a stylish but relaxed interior that feels welcoming whether you’re stopping by for a quick meal or settling in for a longer catch-up with friends. The open, social atmosphere fits perfectly with its central London location, making it a convenient and appealing choice for both locals and visitors.

The food is clearly the main focus, and Doughnation puts effort into making its pizzas feel a bit different from the standard options you find elsewhere. The bases are thin and slightly crisp, my personal favourite. Toppings range from familiar combinations to more creative choices, which helps the menu feel interesting. Ingredients taste fresh and well-paired, and there’s a noticeable attempt to balance flavours rather than overload each pizza.

I really enjoyed the Thyme Roasted Chicken & Mushroom – a flavour combo you don’t always find on a pizza menu! One small but clever idea is the option of dips for the crusts, which turns what is usually leftover into something interesting. Can’t beat a crust dipper!

As well as lunch or dinner, The Bottomless Spritz & Slices experience at 3 Henrietta Street is a lively brunch option perfect for a relaxed weekend treat. Running from Thursday to Sunday between 1:00PM and 8:00PM, it offers an hour of unlimited enjoyment for £35 per person. Guests can indulge in free-flowing XL spritz cocktails and prosecco while sharing a continuous stream of freshly made pizzas.

Overall, Doughnation Pizza delivers a stylish and enjoyable dining experience with a creative twist on traditional pizza. The ideal spot if you’re looking for something pre- or post-theatre or shopping in central London.
