Experience Home Alone At Fork N’ Film’s Christmas Screenings

Imagine movies you can taste. This is the concept behind Fork N’ Film, who commence their festive screenings this month.

I’m seeing Home Alone, a Christmas classic on 21st November. Here Kevin McCallister’s most memorable food moments will be bought to life—the classic cheese pizza he orders from Little Nero’s and the towering ice cream sundae he devours on his solo night in, plus a pot roast served in the red pan he uses on the robbers. We’ll be eating these at the exact moment Kevin does!

Fork n’ Film is an innovative dining and cinema experience founded by former X-Factor contestant Francesca Duncan and her partner Nick Houston. By recreating iconic dishes from films such as Ratatouille, The Princess and the Frog and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, they provide a multi-course feast.

Fork n’ Film is proudly African-American owned and female-led, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the hospitality industry. Since launching in June 2023, events in Los Angeles, New York City, Hawaii and London have sold out in minutes. Now Fork n’ Film are seeking a permanent residence in London as well as regional expansion to cities like Manchester and Birmingham.

Home Alone has four screening dates: 14th, 21st, 22nd and 28th November. The film starts at 6pm though it’s advised to get there earlier.  The events will be held at Eight Embankment, complete with a red carpet entrance and live music. Prices from £89.99 plus service fee.

It looks a great fun, immersive experience. I’m excited to bring to life the film with every bite. I’m sure this will be perfect for film and food enthusiasts. To find out what we thought, check back for our review after the 21st.
