King’s Cross Big Chill’s Rooftop Brew Stop

A little while ago we attended the launch of Big Chill’s Roof Top Brew Stop. Lcated no further then a 5minute walk from King’s Cross St.Pancras Station this venue has it all, downstairs is full of good vibes with music playing with a low lit ambiance. Venturing upstairs you’ll find the rooftop terrace with a special Christmas menu which includes hot brews like the Mulled Cider and Alpine Winter Warmer which go down a treat especially in the chilly weather at present.

During the night there was an upstairs DJ playing some hits from the 90s and tasty light bites available which included the Mac N Cheese Balls and some exceptionally tasty sliders (mini beef burgers) .

Big Chill King’s Cross winter Popup is all thanks to a collaboration with Camden Town Brewery. On offer will be Camden Town beers including some all-time favourites for the hoppin’ holidays as well as some newer brews including ‘Show Off’ and ‘Pale Ale’.

Camden Town’s seasonal exclusive beer at the venue will be:

Hells In Hibernation (£6)

Unpasteurised and unfiltered, this is a steady and fresh 4.6% ABV lager with a piney, citrusy and crisp taste.

For those that prefer their beverages a bit sweeter, there’ll be three new festive tipples available:

White Christmas (£9.50)

Havana 3-year-old rum, Koko Kanu coconut rum, coconut milk. orgeat, mint, lime.

The Grinch (£9)

We’ll be headed back to try the gooey Bavarian goodness with a special edition ‘Alpine Hells Burger’, a three-way collaboration from Chuck Burger, Raclette Bros and Camden Town Brewery –  made up of a Chuck 6oz beef patty, beef bourguignon, pickled red onion, cornichons, mustard mayo, Maker’s Mark/ Camden Hells boozy berry & bacon chutney all covered in grilled raclette off the wheel (£11).
