Faulty Towers Review

ONIN.London recently visited the Faulty Towers The Dining Experience. This internationally acclaimed show is one not to miss and now you won’t have to. Currently performing six shows a week at the Covent Garden 4-star Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel until the 16th of December 2018.

The Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is the 5-star immersive theatre show that’s 70% improvised and wins acclaim around the world. The show has been running for 20 years worldwide and it’s not hard to see why. I’ll admit I’ve never seen an episode of Faulty Towers, so if you’re like me – don’t worry. From entering the waiting room, you are immersed in to the world of Basil, Sybil and Manuel.

A 3-course meal is provided by Basil Sybil and Manuel. The food was tasty and staff ensured that dietary requirements were taken care of. Big plus for the gluten free and vegetarians at our table. Servings are smaller in nature but you don’t come to this dining experience for a big meal… guests come for the non-stops laughs. It really was an unforgettable meal, especially as you never know when you’re going to be roped into the show. From having my hair brushed with a fork, having extra bread rolls thrown at me to having to help Manuel off our table – you really have to expect the unexpected. As you can see from the below pics, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

As promised chaos and fun did reign right from the start. Suzanna Hughes is excellent as Basil’s demanding wife. She helped keep Manuel and Basil in check during the more crazy parts of the show. I don’t want to spoil too much of these, but I will warn you – you may leave in stitches or with mascara running down your face. To be fair the actors playing Basil and Manuel were also on point. I went back and watched old clips of Faulty Towers after the show and could have sworn we’d had John Cleese and Andrew Sachs in the room the whole day.

For a full list of dates and times, make sure you visit the website. Tickets include a three course meal and range from £63.50 – £79.50. So what are you waiting for… go see the show now! It’s also family friendly. We had a few of the younger generations during the lunch special and they were also absolutely loving it! So take don’t just take your partner, take the whole family!
