Grey Goose + Mam Sham’s Christmas Event Review

On 30th November, OnIn.London ventured down to The Spirit Of Christmas Brunch and had a riot of the time. We were there to celebrate Friendsmas with Grey Goose Vodka and Mam Sham at Maison Bab.

I had a friends text me about how jealous they were I was at an actual Mam Sham event. I don’t blame them! After attending I’m desperate to go again as soon as possible.

But first? Who are Mam Sham? The two best friends from University who have been serving up good food and laughter in London for over two years.  Mam Sham serve up three courses inspired by three comedy acts and over the years they have collaborated with an array of guest chefs from Black Axe Mangal to Three Girls Cook and hosting comedy from the likes of Jamali Maddix to Thanyia Moore.

This Christmas they teamed up with Grey Goose to provide kitsch Christmas décor and Mariah Carey inspired drag queens,  comedy, and of course – an exceptional festive cocktail menu and shareable feast.

For the bargain price of just £35 a ticket, we were treated to three delicious courses inspired by three hilarious acts including a talented Raul Paul Drag’s Race contestant. Smoked Hummus, ‘Charcoal’ Beef Kebabs and Sticky Toffee Pudding! All these dishes were accompanied with even better Grey Goose Cocktails. Our favourites were the pornstar sparkling slushies and the glittery Espresso Martini. The drinks kept coming so we were pretty impressed with the generosity of Mam Sham and Grey Goose.

The day was certainly an afternoon of laughter and our bellies hurt from the side splitting comedy we enjoyed between courses. We seriously had an absolutely fabulous time and can’t wait to see what Mam Sham come up with in the new year. Thanks for the invite!
