HOLLAND & BARRETT LAUNCHES 2022 ADVENT CALENDAR FOR JUST £55

It’s November and you know what that means… Christmas advent calendars will be dropping like Santa through the chimney in the next few weeks.

This year, as the cost of living crisis rages on, affordability is more important than ever and among the beauty brand giants there are a few that stand out, including Holland & Barrett’s festive offering.

While the £55 advent calendar might not exactly be cheap, the goodies inside are worth over 180 and it’s suitable for vegans too (and at ON IN London, we love conscious, inclusive shopping).

We’ve taken a look at H&B’s 2022 calendar – here’s our verdict.

First off, it’s huge. And unlike some other brands, this isn’t just for show.

The 25 doors inside hold both small and full-size items, such as the Q+A Hyaluronic Serum (75ml) and the Faith in Nature Dragon Fruit Body Wash (400ml), and the packaging is a deep purplish blue with tasteful festive details like mistletoe and pink ribbon.

It’s definitely not one for kids, but a great buy for hipster adults.

You can find a full list of the products below, but some of our personal favourites include the wellbeing treats such as the Westlab Mindful bathing salts, great for muscle soreness bath (we tried it), Ayumi Neem Face Mask and the Psychic Sisters Aventurine Gua Sha Facial Wand.

Though the latter, a smoooth, flat rose quartz crystal, had more of a placebo effect on us rather than a magical restorative power.

Other surprising treats included the Naturtint Hairfood Goji mask and Urban Veda Reviving Night Cream.

Hollland & Barrett claims the advent calendar, which is available in-store and online, will save shoppers £127.69 compared to the price of the individual products, and is cheaper than most similar offerings on the market.

With retailers like Liberty and John Lewis pricing theirs at £245 and £179 respectively, this one is certainly a cheaper option.

But you best hurry, the brand anticipates that its advent calendar will sell out by 1 December.
