Revolutionary chef-led healthy dining arrives in London
Soho is abundant with fabulous places to eat and drink, but let us tell you, none are quite like this incredibly exciting new opening from Honest Greens. Known as one of Spain and Portugal’s most iconic ‘real food’ restaurant groups, they have now opened their doors to their very first UK site.
You’ll find the stunning new Hg restaurant at 21 St Anne’s Court, W1F 0BJ, open for all-day dining. It’s a space designed for every eating situation. Pop in for a healthy breakfast and top-notch coffee. It’s an ideal spot to grab a beautifully prepared lunch in under 30 minutes, perfect for the office crowd, or if the mood strikes you can hang out at your own pace day or night with friends on a big table ideal for groups.
Known simply as Hg in the UK, the group brings a confident, globally inspired approach to flavour, with the majority of the menu drawing from its Mediterranean roots while still leaving room for wider culinary influences and favourite ingredients. Chef-driven open-fire cooking, led by chefs with fine-dining training, emphasises a deep respect for wholesome, real ingredients prioritising genuine flavour over the buzzword “healthy.” Dishes rely on natural ingredients, olive oil, no refined sugars, and nothing even remotely industrial. This philosophy is paired with a strong commitment to sustainable British produce, sourced locally wherever possible.
Known for its chef-driven approach, real ingredients and technology-led operations, Hg is set to introduce Londoners to a new era of affordable, convenient and uncompromisingly nutritious dining – democratising healthy eating.
Founded in Barcelona in 2017 but opening its very first Honest Greens in Madrid, Honest Greens has created a fast-growing niche within the eating real sector, offering high-quality dishes designed with Michelin-level knowledge but served in a fast-casual format. The brand’s mission is rooted in the belief that healthy living is a basic human right, and that nutritious food should be accessible, convenient and fairly priced.
The founders, three friends Christopher, Rasmus, and Ben, met in Spain and bonded over a love of great food and travel. They had cooked in Michelin-star kitchens, built businesses and waited tables, but still couldn’t find a place where food felt honest, fast, delicious, and easily available to all. They decided to start one themselves to create ethically sourced, plant-forward food that’s vibrant, nourishing and real.
Real food, made fresh every day
Hg prepares everything in-house daily using minimally processed ingredients and absolutely no additives, preservatives or refined sugars. Every dish begins with real food: olive oil, fresh herbs, quality proteins, and vegetables that taste like themselves. Where possible, produce is organic and sourced locally from suppliers who share their commitment to sustainable and responsible farming methods. The menu not only accommodates but embraces gluten-free, vegetarian, plant-based and keto diets, offering broad appeal across dietary needs.
There’s a killer health breakfast menu – Hg is partnering with purpose-driven London bakery Dusty Knuckle to supply their cult-status artisanal sourdough bread for the deliciously heaped Toasts selection – alongside generous breakfast bowls and house special hot dishes.
For lunch and later guests build their own meals from the brand’s Market Plates and Garden Bowls, choosing from a generous selection of proteins, plant-led sides and approximately 30 sauces, all made fresh on-site each day. The concept also includes Beans, Hg’s specialty coffee counter featuring high-quality espresso and latte art. The coffee is supplied by artisan roastery Ozone selected from their special edition single origin and blends. Available from the coffee counter is also a selection of plant-based, gluten-free and refined sugar-free desserts. Alongside this sits a concise but thoughtful drinks list, including wine, beer and house-made flavoured waters.

A dining experience shaped by chefs and design
The Hg Soho restaurant features an open show kitchen where chefs prepare dishes in full view of guests, engaging with customers and showcasing the freshness and craft behind every order. Ingredients are delivered daily, and nothing used by the kitchen is frozen, canned or pre-packaged. The theatre of open-fire cooking brings a fine-dining level of skill to a format designed for speed, flavour and everyday accessibility.
The design at Hg is so integral to the brand. Every nook and cranny has been thought through and has its own deliberate purpose and function. The moment you walk in, the space encourages you to slow down and stay as long as you like. There’s no feeling of that table-turning panic you so often pick up on in Soho. The furniture and fittings are handcrafted by their own Honest Lab, giving the room a raw, natural, Scandinavian simplicity that feels both chic and deeply comfortable. There’s a whisper of boutique-hotel and a touch of art gallery cool, with natural materials and thoughtful textures softening the edges. It carries that gentle holiday warmth, making you feel instantly relaxed, while still rooted firmly in the energy and rhythm of the city.
Playlists curated by local DJs add to the lively atmosphere, across breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night sessions.
Technology that powers hospitality
The Hg app, designed in-house, makes eating real food faster, easier and more rewarding, giving guests the ability to order ahead and skip the queue, save their favourite dishes, and enjoy a quicker, more personalised in-store experience. With tailored rewards, early access to new seasonal dishes, real-time menu updates and clear ingredient and dietary information, the app helps customers get the most out of every visit, whether they’re grabbing a quick lunch, collecting a Beans coffee, or reordering their go-to bowl with a single tap.
A new chapter for London’s healthy dining scene
The Soho opening marks Hg’s first step into the UK market and a significant milestone in its international expansion. The brand aims to bring a new standard of chef-led, tech-powered, accessible healthy dining to one of the world’s most food-obsessed cities. Hg is rooted in real food, Mediterranean flavour, and the belief that nourishing cooking should be as everyday as it is exceptional.
