The end of lockdown is finally in sight and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Now it’s time to look ahead to a summer packed full of our best loved, and most missed activities; outdoor dining, beer gardens, music, theatre, comedy – the list goes on and on. Thankfully, the team behind
Pub in the Park have announced their brand new event, The Alfresco Theatre Drive-in Tour, and it ticks off everything on our 2021 bucket lists.
From April, The Alfresco Theatre will be hitting the road and touring six UK locations, bringing back arts and culture with a showstopping bang and boasting an unrivalled lineup of big-screen movies, live theatre, exciting music acts and comedy gigs.

Performances will be served alongside one-off dishes from some of the UK’s most exciting and well-known chefs – sign us up!

Friday nights at the Theatre will play host to Mark Watson’s Carpool Comedy Club, featuring laugh-out-loud sets from the likes of Nish Kumar, Dara Ó Briain, Ed Byrne, Angela Barnes, Nina Conti, Marcus Brigstocke and Rachel Parris – with each gig featuring an extended set from Mark himself.

Saturday nights will see the return of live music as fun-loving Spice Girls tribute act SPICE will open for either The Bootleg Beatles, the world’s premier Beatles band, or world-renowned Bjorn Again: The ABBA Show for the ultimate night of pop.

The Drive & Dine Cinema features a fantastic line-up of feelgood flicks such as Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, alongside award-winning blockbusters like Jo Jo Rabbit, Bohemian Rhapsody and Jurassic Park. Movie-goers will also be able to sing their hearts out with special sing-along versions of The Greatest Showman and Grease.

For foodies, The Alfresco Theatre team have also created the ultimate travelling restaurant with superstar chefs Tom Kerridge, Rick Stein, Atul Kochhar, Paul Ainsworth and Jason Atherton all joining forces to create an exclusive menu of one-off, not-to-be-missed dishes.

Henley: 12 th – 16 th May 2021 at Calden Faw Estate
Warwick: 19 th – 23 rd May 2021 at Sherbourne Park
St Albans: 2 nd – 6 th June 2021 at Hertfordshire Showground
West London: 9 th – 13 th June 2021 at Syon Park
