Madison Mad Brunch Review

We visited the Madison on the 28th for the first in their series of Mad Brunches, dressed as different Taylor Swifts from 4 of her music videos. (Check out our twitter for pics of our costumes). It was Halloween so there was no saying no to the Madison’s invite to ‘Dress To Kill’.

The £25.00 tickets included a welcome cocktail, nibbles and 6 hours of resident DJs and the very special guest DJ – Maya Jam. We thought that was pretty decent for a day of music and getting to watch magicians, stilt walkers and contortionists.Even a glitter queen to glitterfy all the guests. What more could you ask for.

Our welcome cocktail was a delicious vodka concoction which looked simply magical. The red glittery swirls made even more fabulous with the dry ice smoking out the top of our drink. We were fans of these so had to go back for seconds. The pictures simply don’t do it justice but if you saw our insta-story, well you’d be impressed!

The food was fantastic with pumpkin risotto, quail eggs with deviled hollandaise and mini werewolf burgers being our favourites. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the desserts of cherry bakewell tart with blood jelly and chocolate mummies. The looked fabulous but we were way too full on prosecco and the other canapes by this stage.

Maya Jam was fabulous on the decks and her set surely entertained the crowds. Thanks Madison for putting on a top show. Mad Brunch was a hit and we can’t wait to see your other brunches in the future. It’s a top location with great food, drink and a fun crowd who know how to party. You’re surely going to find us there again soon!
