New Bath Hotel & Spa joins Radisson Individuals portfolio
An exceptional UK property in a destination rooted in history and natural beauty has been signed by Radisson Hotel Group to join the Radisson Individuals family.
The new addition is the New Bath Hotel & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals in Matlock, Derbyshire, a historic spa retreat located on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Nestled in the historic village of Matlock Bath, this 18th-century propertyis a rare wellness-led heritage destination and will join the Radisson Individuals portfolio in December 2025. Featuring 54 stylish guest rooms, the hotel offers a truly unique thermal-water experience with its spring-fed outdoor Lido – originally opened in 1934, where water enters the pool at around 19.8 degrees Celsius from a geothermal spring.
The hotel offers two restaurants, The Peak Brasserie and The Dining Room, as well as a lounge where guests can relax and enjoy hearty lunches, afternoon tea, or thoughtfully curated a la carte dishes. The spa is open to both hotel guests and non-residents, with a variety of ESPA treatments, a nail salon, hot tub, sauna, and steam room available, providing the perfect space to switch off and unwind. Specialising in business meetings and events, the hotel’s The Ballroom can accommodate up to 150 people, while The Derwent Room accommodates up to 40.

The dog-friendly hotel is within walking distance of Matlock Bath’s main attractions, including the Peak District Mining Museum, Gulliver’s Kingdom family theme park, and Heights of Abraham, a cable car experience offering panoramic views and underground cavern tours.
