Ninety One Living Room

Brick lane is bringing jazz back in a big way this summer. Ninety one living room is launching a jazz revival by bringing some of the worlds finest artists and emerging talent like Sahre Gure and Ife Ogunjobi in a series of exclusive gigs called « Jazz lates ».

Kicking off the program on Friday 7th June is Brazilian jazz group London Bossa Quartet, bringing you the richness and unique sound of Brazilian jazz music, this band will leave you feeling inspired. On Saturday June 8th Ninety One Living Room welcomes back fan favorite Sahra Gure, with this performance expect to be taken on an amazing journey of love pain and joy as Sahra tells a story through her music.

On June 15th Ogunjobi the incredibly talented trumpeter and composer will be performing, he has played with some of the worlds biggest artists like Solange and Wande Coal. This is a unique chance to see him in an intimate venue and for free. Other jazz legends will also be there like wale and Kongo Dia Ntotila

Finishing off the month of June will be the incredibly talented Kongo Dia Ntotila on June 21st who will bringing a blend of Africa’s finest dance music styles, the band draws on African rhythms and strong Congolese influences.
