It might sound corny, but I love a Holiday Inn. Whenever I’ve visited whether it’s as a paying customer or an invited guest I’ve always been treated with the utmost respect and had the best stay.
Last year Onin.London visited the Holiday Inn London Sutton Hotel to check out theist £750,000 Open Lobby Refurbishment and spend the night.
The Holiday Inn London Sutton is ideally located, in the heart of the town centre and nearby Sutton station with fast trains to London Victoria in half an hour. On-site parking is available at the hotel, and Gatwick (LGW) and Heathrow (LHR) airports are both under a 45-minute drive away. A short drive away, you can enjoy horse racing at Epsom Down, the rides and zoo at Chessington World of Adventures, Hampton Court’s maze and palace, or Centre Court tennis at Wimbledon.

We were supposed to eat dinner there the night we stayed but we were held up in the city so arriving late, we chose to eat dinner in our room. Room service was top notch, with our chicken schnitzels, chicken wings and dessert all cooked to perfect! There’s something so luxurious about room service.
You can be sure we checked out the dining space for breakfast the next morning and it did not disappoint.
Our room was gorgeous and the bed! Wow the bed! It was legit the size of a football field. Ok slight exaggeration but the super king bed was massive! Not to mention comfy. After a day out in London it was exactly what we needed. The room was incredibly sound proofed as well as we didn’t hear anyone in other room. Given this you can be sure we had an amazing sleep.
The next morning we ventured down stairs for breakfast. It was a classic full English for me and as I already said it did not disappoint. Eggs cooked just the way I liked them as was everything else. It was the perfect meal to start the day.
The Holiday Inn London Sutton hotel offers welcoming rooms and a health club with an indoor pool, gym and sauna. There’s a bar and a relaxed all-day restaurant, and kids stay and eat free. Business travellers are close to several corporate HQs, and a business centre with printing facilities is available. I mean what more could you want!!
