Platter London Review

Bank holiday Monday was the perfect time to go visit, Platter London. What is Platter London? Well, it was originally a bespoke food platter company but now they’ve opened their first coffee shop. Platter London serves Allpress artisan coffees, tailor-made food platters, iced drinks and freshly baked pastries to eat in or take away. The cosy and rustic interior was super cute and it was lovely sitting in there sipping on a cup of tea while waiting for my friend to join me. Customers surely felt the same way as there was a number which came in to escape the noise coming from Notting Hill Carnival.

Platter offers Mini Platters, consisting of sweet or savoury bites for one or two people; Platter Boxes and Picnic Platters. All of these are created fresh each day and designed to be taken out and enjoyed in the park. Which is exactly what we did. Thankfully the weather had dried up which allowed us to enjoy our feast in the nearby Hyde Park.

The Picnic Patter we received was simply gorgeous – almost too good to eat! It contained fresh coronation sandwiches, brie with fresh honeycomb, spring rolls, fruits, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, beetroot dip, crackers and crudites. As you can see, it was beautifully made.

We thoroughly enjoyed making our through this platter with out bottle of pre-purchased prosecco… because you can’t have a gorgeous picnic without bubbles! Given how much food was there, we didn’t get to try our included brownies until we got home. They were absolutely divine. The perfect balance of rich but not too sweet.

You too can order the picnic platter or for larger parties,  large bespoke platters are available to order. There’s even breakfast platters available and I can tell you these look amazing! If you want to impress a date, friends or family – then Platter London will certainly have you covered.
