Porn Star Martini Day by Passoã in partnership with DrinkUp who have created a day to celebrate this beloved cocktail. Taking place this Friday on the 6/9/2019 (Pun Intended!). There will be an array of activity happening on the day so click on the DrinkUp link for details. But most importantly they’ll be be free Porn Star Martini’s up for grab on Friday! The activities are for over 18+ only!
The PSM cocktail has been in news recently especially with M&S having to change the name of their porn star martini cocktail to passion fruit martini due to the customer complaints around the name so it’s certainly topical.You may or may not know but PSM has been popular since its creation in 2002 and is currently the UKs no.1 selling cocktail.
Here’s the recipe and method for those who would like to make this at home.
40 ML PASSOÃ
40 ML VODKA
10 ML VANILLA SYRUP
10 ML LIME JUICE
1 PASSION FRUIT
THE RITUAL: ADD A SHOT OF PROSECCO OR CHAMPAGNE
The Porn Star Martini can be whipped up in a flash!
1. In a shaker filled with ice cubes, add one measure of Passoã, another of vodka, a dash of vanilla syrup, the juice from half a lime, and the pulp of half a passion fruit. Give it a good shake!
2. Strain and serve in a fancy pre-chilled glass, and decorate with the other half of the passion fruit (for nibbling on later).
3. Follow with a shot of prosecco or champagne straight after.
