REVIEW: Ed’s Easy Diner
When you head to Soho, it’s hard to miss the big Ed’s Easy Diner on the corner of Moor Street. This classic American diner is just the thing to transform you to a 1950’s American dinner, with matching Jukebox music to bob your head along too.
Ed’s Easy Diner doesn’t have starters, you dive straight into the burgers / hotdogs. We went for a Ed’s plate, we chose the Ed’s fried chicken burger which came with fries and onion rings, it was a good size portion, for those with a big appetite. The chicken was cooked well and exactly what you would expect from a good diner.
Dessert lovers there is a big selection of desserts from waffles, to pancakes to chocolate brownies served with ice cream. We went for the waffles with chocolate sauce and ice cream. The waffles were sweet and divine and yet again it came in a generous portion (a big plus in our books).
The soho branch is quite small, so if you want the true American diner experience, head to the bigger branches in Angel and in Westfield, Shepherds Bush, however if you don’t mind small and cosy then the Soho diner is the place for you!
