REVIEW: Rituals Sun Protection Hairspray

With the weather hotting up in London, most people reach for sun protection but how often do you think about protecting your hair?

To be honest I only ever protect my hair when I’m using my hair dryer, to protect my hair against the heat, so why have I never thought about protecting my hair against the sun? As we know beach holidays are all about hot sunshine, salty sea water and even chlorine in swimming pools, so when I came across the Rituals Sun Protection Hair Spray I was intrigued and had to give it a go.

I recently went on holiday to Miami and of course that was the best place to test it out with temperatures reaching 35 degrees, a little like London at the moment… The first thing I noticed when I sprayed the sun-protective hairspray was the lovely fresh floral scent.

The spray gives a nice shine whilst protecting my hair against dryness and becoming discoloured, I used it for the 7 days I was there and really noticed a difference, my hair looked conditioned and shiny.

The best time to use the spray is on dry or damp hair before you leave the house where you’re exposed to UV radiation, and reapply thereafter. It contains a mix of natural ingredients including Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, and White Tea.
