Rhythm&Ruse: The Magic Show You Need To Attend!

I love magic! I’m always impressed by the skills and talent of magicians and can never get bored watching it. So I was incredibly enamoured by the spellbinding fusion of magic and cabaret at Rhythm&Ruse.

Attending the press night we were excited to dive into the mystical world of the occult at Rhythm&Ruse, situated within the legendary Vaults in Waterloo. Now open, the experience showcases a jazz-kissed world where magic meets cabaret. This clandestine secret society of magicians promises guests an unforgettable evening of revelry in an immersive experience unlike any other. Expect world-class magic, captivating live jazz, and sultry cabaret performances from some of London’s top immersive talent, all accompanied by a carefully curated selection of five drinks including cocktails from the award-winning Tom Savano.

Residing in the dimly lit arches of Waterloo, Rhythm&Ruse invites guests on a journey to discover the magic of the Jazz Age, where unmarked doors and whispered passwords unlock a world of mystery and glamour. A night of close-up magic, live jazz and cocktails awaits, with charming hosts spinning tales and cracking jokes throughout. Amidst the flickering candlelight, guests will meet a variety of magicians, each offering their unique brand of close-up magic, from all kinds of different backgrounds and from all across the world. Guests will delight as they witness a variety of mesmerising tricks up close, with the assurance that each visit promises a fresh and different experience. Meanwhile, large-scale illusions and captivating cabaret performances will unfold onstage, adding to the enchantment of the evening. The cast list includes multi award winning magician Stephen Barry, WenHSin Lee; experienced immersive theatre performer and dancer and one of the UK’s top magicians Gary Schiffman.

We absolutely loved Lady London and Brendan Rodrigiues. Very talented magicians! My friend and I were completely spell bound the entire evening and still can’t figure out how they did everything! Must be real magic!

During your evening Rhythm & Ruse hosts (Mallory Gracenin and Sam Booth) move between the series of 12-seat round tables to foster camaraderie and provide a welcoming atmosphere. As the night deepens, the secret society of magician’s members will offer tarot readings in character, gradually revealing the intriguing backstory and immersing guests in a world of mystery and enchantment.

As guests fully immerse themselves in the excellent entertainment, they will have access to a delicious array of beverages which will magically appear at the table over the course of the show. Guests will be welcomed with one of Tom Savano’s premium hand-crafted cocktails; indulge in a divine Blackberry Gin Bramble or a delicious Italian Spirtiz (non-alcoholic) followed by a further four delightful choices throughout the experience, all included in the ticket price. Alongside the signature cocktails guests can choose from a diverse selection of beers, cider, spirits, mixers, and a variety of red, white, and sparkling wines alongside an assortment of soft drinks, and a menu of light bites from gourmet popcorn and charcuterie to giant meringues and handmade chocolate.

We loved the cocktails and the whole entire evening and I will be attending again! It was just superb! Book your tickets now! You’ll regret it if you don’t!!
