Ski Lodge, Ski Lift and Log Cabin invites Londoners to Warm Up and Chill Out in Bloomsbury

With winter around the corner, there’s no denying many of us are looking forward to hibernation mode (cue mindless consumption of comfort food and a significant reduction in weekday socialising past 7pm). Regardless of our winter woes, news just in says a ski lodge is arriving on 16th November in London complete with ski lift and falling snow. We’re listening…

Forget the Alps, luxury hotel The Montague on the Gardens in Bloomsbury have brought a slice of snowy style to our capital city with the return of it’s Ski Lodge, Log Cabin and Ski Lift. The lodge in question will feature pine trees, twinkling lights, festive snowmen, ski racks and falling snow. What’s more, a separate Log Cabin area offers a tempting alternative to squeezing onto your sofa at home, with it’s decorative fireplace, armchairs, blankets and choice of sophisticated bar snacks. Visitors can even take a ‘ride’ on the Montague Ski Lift. Heads up – those who share a selfie using #SkiMontague on Twitter or Instagram will be in with a chance of winning a luxury two night stay at Hotel D’Angleterre, Geneva for two people..

To chill out at the Ski Lodge on a wintry weekend, guests can purchase a ‘ski pass’ for £35 per person which includes an hour’s access; a seasonal spread of food, including a mini turkey schnitzel, mini bratwurst and deep fried camembert (vegetarian options are available too). Plus a choice of three festive drinks from the Ski Lodge bar menu.
 Open from 13:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays and Sundays for ‘ski pass’ access, To avoid disappointment this festive season, guests are encouraged to make a reservation with the hotel by calling 020 7637 1001.

Throughout the week, the Ski Lodge is also open for group bookings and Christmas parties for up to 200 guests. Private hire packages start from £70 per person. From 16th November to 20th January.
