Social Darts At Greenwood Sports Bar & Kitchen Review

If you’re looking for something a bit different for a date night, friend catch-up, or even team bonding, I recently tried Social Darts at Greenwood (Victoria) and it totally delivered. Here’s how it went — and why I’ll go back.

🎯 The Vibe & Games

From the moment we walked in, the staff were super attentive — really warm, helpful, checking in to explain how everything works, showing us to our lane, and generally making sure we were sorted. It made the evening feel smooth and relaxed, not at all awkward or confusing for first-timers.

What I particularly liked: the darts setup is very modern. You can pick different game themes from a screen interface, and each one comes with its own animations. So if you choose “elimination” (a.k.a. “killer mode”) you’ll see effects for knocking out other players or if you go for “around the world” there are “passport stamp” visuals. It adds a fun, playful twist so you’ll feel like you’re in a game-show rather than just throwing darts.

We tried several game types: the elimination style (where you could knock others out), “around the world” (collecting passport stamps), and my favourite — one where you try to score as high as possible to destroy a virtual brick wall. The brick-wall one is especially satisfying!

While we, as two people, had fun, some games  would be  more dynamic with 3-4+ people with more banter, more unpredictable moves, more laughs.

🍔 Food & Drinks

We ordered:

• plant burger

• Korean chicken wings

• Mac & Cheese croquettes

• pulled pork Tacos

Everything came out nicely.  The portions were good, the food was tasty and felt like proper pub comfort meets a night of fun! I liked that the menu is varied with burgers, pizzas, tacos, wings, light bites and a couple of sharing platters.

On the drinks front, we tried their cocktail specials (the Tyrecee and Rebecca) — they were excellent. What stood out was how thoughtfully their flavour pairings were done: you could taste creativity, not just mixing things together. They weren’t overpowered by alcohol — just well balanced, interesting, memorable.

📍 Practical Bits: Space, Price & Location

• Even when the pub was busy (multiple sports events going on on the screens), there was enough space. It never felt cramped. So whether you go mid-week or on a weekend, the space works.

• Location is spot on: just outside Victoria Underground Station. Easy to get to, especially for people coming from different parts of London.

• The price is decent. (The games are £10-£12 per person depending on the day.

✅ Would I Recommend It?

Yes, absolutely. This is one of those evenings where everything clicks:

• great entertainment (the games are fun and varied)

• reliable service

• tasty food & good drinks

• convenient location

• decent value

It works for lots of occasions: a fun date, hanging out with friends, after work unwind, or even a small informal team get-together when you want something more than just dinner and drinks.
