Kingly Court Presents: Soho Sounds

Free Live Music Throughout April, Starting Easter Weekend

Soho and Carnaby Street is launching Kingly Court Presents: Soho Sounds, a brand new free-to-attend live music residency created in partnership with Soho Radio. Running every Thursday to Sunday throughout the month of April, the programme will bring DJs and live acoustic performances to the iconic three-storey courtyard at Kingly Court, making it one of central London’s most exciting free music destinations this spring.

Kingly Court Presents musical performances will run from 5pm–9pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and 1pm–5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The residency launches this Easter Bank Holiday weekend with sets from Iraina Mancini and Noble & Heath on Thursday 2nd April, Matt Smooth and Imaginary Millions on Good Friday (3rd April), and Karim Bitar, Bror Havnes, Miles Wonderfulsound and Amie Fretter across the Saturday (4th April) and Sunday (5th April). With live performances from Sunny Reyne, Kitty Liv, Sir Ramble and Rebecca Herrington during Easter Weekend. The programme also includes a special all-day celebration for Record Store Day on Saturday 18th April, with guest DJs taking to the decks for a celebration of vinyl culture.

Kingly Court’s al-fresco courtyard will remain as much a place to eat and drink as it is to listen. Visitors can pull up a chair, order from one of the ground-floor resident restaurants and let the music soundtrack their meal. Goldies serves smoky skewers from a wood-fired grill and twice-cooked frites, whilst ALTA brings the spirit of Spanish aperitivo culture to life with its new Vermouth Hour. Featuring classic serves and Basque-inspired bites, Vermouth Hour will run daily from 5–6:30pm (excluding Sundays and Mondays), offering £5 vermouth alongside a curated pintxos menu including gildas, crisps with aperitivo sauce, mussels escabeche, bikini sandwiches, and smoked almonds.

On the upper floors, Donia champions Filipino sharing plates with bespoke cocktails; and Darjeeling Express, from Asma Khan, delivers exceptional North Indian and Bengali cuisine. For drinks, Two Floors offers a Japanese listening bar meets classic cocktail den, while Disrepute keeps the night alive until 3am in its atmospheric basement. Plus Imad’s Syrian Kitchen offers a warm Levantine welcome, with complimentary prosecco or a soft drink for all bookings and walk-ins using code APRIL, available Thursday to Sunday before 6pm.

Away from Kingly Court, Soho and Carnaby Street’s restaurants and shops also offer plenty to discover over the Easter weekend and throughout April. Inko Nito on Broadwick Street offers Kids Eat Free over the holiday, while Kolamba on Kingly Street serves its £9 Little Lankan menu – giving kids a warm plate of chicken curry, dahl, hoppers or rice, and juice. For a memorable evening out, Cahoots in Kingly Court kicks off its Midnight Rye Society singalong series from 8.30pm on Easter Thursday.

Those looking to shop over Easter will find plenty across the neighbourhood too. Miffy on Newburgh Street is running Easter promotions including 30% off the Oven Dish and a fun in-store Easter egg hunt; Big Kid Ice Cream on Kingly Street and Donutelier on Carnaby Street are the go-to spots for sweet treat lovers; and Charlotte Tilbury on Great Marlborough Street is the destination for a spring beauty refresh just in time for the bank holiday weekend.
