The Essence House – Immersive experience returns for London Cocktail Week
As we head into October, London Cocktail week shakes and stir things up once again with festivities extended throughout the entire month. Whatever your choice; classic, tropical, sweet, sour or bitter? Cocktail week will be churning out a mixer of events, masterclasses and exclusive deals across hundreds of participating bars and restaurants to suit cocktail connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
Back for London Cocktail Week 2021 is The Essence House serving up a fully immersive pop up event between 2nd -24th October set across two-floors in the stunning Carriage Hall situated on Floral Street, Covent Garden. Mixology experience not required, with expert guidance, you will enjoy an intricate series of flavour and aroma tests, designed to uncover your true palate profile. Embark on a multi sensory journey, from understanding the impact of effervescence, temperature, and garnish; find your base ingredient, balance of sweetness or acidity, and add dimension with the infusion of garnishes and flavours that will complement or contrast to find your unique cocktail type.
The event is created to inspire imaginations and impart the tools to create cocktails, distinctively designed for the individual palate. It takes experimenting and practice to perfect a great tasting cocktail, but you’ll be equipped with the formula and confidence to create great tasting custom cocktails for both yourself and others. As part of the experience, you will enjoy a bespoke cocktail prepared by talented bartenders according to your individual palate, as well as an complimentary signature cocktail at the end of the session to be enjoyed on the lovely rooftop terrace bar.
The immersive experience lasts 45 minutes followed by a maximum of two hours to sip back and relax with drinks on the roof terrace enjoying a menu of signature London Essence cocktails made with The London Essence Company’s range of exquisite mixers, crafted from distilled botanicals.
Get into the spirit and head downstairs to the main London Cocktail Week Bar which is open to all festival goers, serving uniquely curated cocktails, including signature serves from a selection of the UK and Europe’s leading bars for only £7. Why limit happy to just an hour!
