The Root 7 G & Tea Set Review

If you haven’t guessed it already, OnIn.London are huge fans of gin, so we’re always on the look out for new and exciting ways to drink Gin.The Root 7 G & Tea Set allowed this to happen.  The gorgeous tea pot has been designed to be a fun, stylish and uber-unique way to mix and serve a cocktail for two.

Made from high-quality rainbow tinted borosilicate glass with a shimmering gold pattern, the set is stunningly beautiful. Borosilicate glass made from silica and boron trioxide and is known for having very low parameters of thermal expansion, making them resistant to thermal shock. So can be used for hot and cold drinks. Therefore, the teapot can also be used with real tea, if you want to class up your afternoon tea experience.

Now if you’re like me, it felt a bit weird drinking a G&T out of tea cups, the big Copa glasses are more my gin glass of choice. Despite this, it was a fun way to class up a G&T night at my house. We certainly felt fancy, sipping on of our favourite gins (Copper Head Gin) out of the beautiful tea cups.

Our favourite feature of the teapot, is that it came with a filter basket keeping fruity lumps and pips out of the tea cups. This meant we could put extra juniper berries in the filter and then weren’t in our drink.

The Root7 G & Tea Set makes the perfect Christmas gift this year for the gin lover in your life. So why not spoil them with this gorgeous tea set.
