THE UK’S LARGEST WINE FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR ITS 45th YEAR
The UK’s largest and longest-running wine tasting (outside of the drinks trade) returns to London this autumn, bringing 300 wonderful wines together under one roof, over one weekend. Showing up for the 45th edition of this event will be over 80producers from 17 countries, as well as industry experts ready to share their knowledge through guided tastings and talks.
With the event returning to a venue used many times in the past, Lawrence Hall in Westminster, London, guests will have the opportunity to not only taste the huge variety of wines but also meet the people behind them. Wine lovers can also access special discounts and can even sample rare wines in the fine wine tasting room, including iconic bottles from Bordeaux, Burgundy and beyond.
Tutored tastings and talks for 2025 include a Cheese and Wine Masterclass and a Sherry Lovers’ Gourmet Masterclass. The Times and The Sunday Times Wine Club Vice President and wine columnist Will Lyons will also host two hotly anticipated talks – a must for lovers of fine wine – including a ‘New Discoveries’ Masterclass and ‘A Journey Through Bordeaux’ Masterclass.
Also on hand will be Laithwaites’ in-house Wine Guides – whose diaries are open now for tours and personal shopping appointments.
