Tony’s Chocolonely is expanding its lineup with the launch of Filled, a new range designed to meet the growing demand for multi-texture, indulgent treats. 

According to the National Confectioners Association (2024)*, 47% of consumers prefer chocolate with added textures and inclusions like caramel and nuts, while 65% turn to chocolate as an affordable treat to enhance moments of joy and comfort. 

Tony’s taps into this trend with Filled, showcasing how chocolate is increasingly seen as both a sensory experience and a source of everyday indulgence in a full-on, demanding world that never switches off.

Each bar features Tony’s signature unequally divided bar design, now with layers filled with flavour. The combination of chunky chocolate – made from 100% traceable cocoa beans – and soft, layered fillings offers creamy, crunchy, and gooey textures in every bite. Positioned as the ultimate sweet relief, these bars offer consumers a rebellious, unapologetic pause from the busy, full-on lives we live.

  • Gooey caramel sea salt crunch: Creamy milk chocolate with gooey caramel, crunchy caramel pieces, and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Creamy milk chocolate hazelnut crunch: Smooth hazelnut praline paired with roasted hazelnuts for a creamy-crunchy combination.
  • Creamy milk chocolate ganache: Milk chocolate filled to the brim with smooth, creamy chocolate ganache for full-on indulgence.

Cocoa production faces mounting challenges: climate shocks and crop diseases in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, where 60% of the world’s cocoa is grown, have caused yields to decline. Because of poverty, there has been systematic lack of investment in cocoa farmers and their farms, it also causes child labor and deforestation.

All cocoa beans used by Tony’s, including in the new Filled range, are sourced through this model, ensuring resilience for farmers and premium-quality beans.
