Two Chicks Pops Up In Old Street
Two Chicks, the company responsible for bringing liquid egg whites to the UK, will be serving up its free-range egg products in healthy omelettes, shakes, waffles and fritters to the passing commuters of Old Street.
Until Saturday 30th January, anyone visiting Old Street tube station will be able to visit the new ‘Two Chicks Kitchen’ and sample a range of dishes made with free-range egg whites and free-range liquid whole egg. The specially branded pop-up unit will join a range of health and fitness brands setting up in residence in the station throughout January for Old Street’s very own Underground Festival, curated by ‘Appear here’.
This will be the first time Two Chicks has taken over a retail space, demonstrating the convenience of its cartons of liquid egg products while showcasing a range of healthy, yet delicious, recipes. Each dish is packed full of protein and will make you feel fuller so you’re less likely to overeat or snack between meals. They’re the ideal way to kick start any New Year healthy eating regime, with the egg white options being particularly good for anyone following a cholesterol free diet.
For breakfast, the pop up will be serving egg white and whole egg omelettes, made with a range of toppings such as feta, tomatoes or smoked salmon. Or for those with a sweeter tooth, try an omelette made with chia, cinnamon and vanilla. Alternatively, choose an egg white protein shake for a filling start to the day. There’s also a whey-less protein option available by ‘kmpt nutrition’. Two Chicks Chirps will also be available to buy, along with protein muffins, green juices and other healthy drinks.
Every lunchtime, Two Chicks will be selling specially created meals from ‘Protein Haus’, designed specifically for Two Chicks egg white and whole egg products. Try chicken with egg white fried rice and vegetables, salmon with egg white quinoa and vegetables or egg white and vegetable fritters. They’ll be served in handy sized boxes so you can take them straight back to eat at your desk.
Alongside all these meals, they’ll also be a daily specials board throughout January serving dishes such as pancakes, waffles and protein porridge.
