UK Coffee Week: 7th-13th April – London’s Best Coffee Shops – Who Rules the Roast

As a population we are coffee crazy. The industry is thriving and in 2013 the coffee market broke the £1 billion mark with 800,000 British adults visit a coffee shop at least four times a week. Therefore being British we do what any sound minded British person would do, we create a national week celebrating the potent brown stuff.

So here at ONIN we have scoured London for you guy’s fave coffee hangouts and here’s what we came up with!

The best for………….groovy cakes

SALT

teaborwnFood, coffee or tea Salt has it all. Exposed brickwork with a modern twist, Salt looks deceivingly large with its mirrored back room. Try their sarnie with some spicy tomato jam but save room for the cake, maybe a green tea brownie, trust us it’s good.

THE ATTENDANT

IMG_20140403_230703You could easily walk right on past the attended if it wasn’t for its prestige, oh and the “Should I kill myself or have a cup of coffee” sign outside. Owner Ryan has really got the coffee down at The Attendant, smooth and lovely with a double shot in every cup! A cosy toilet based setting, you’re sure not to have an coffee shop stop experience like this anywhere else in London!

All wood paneled with some cakes in the window, Wild and Wood is really a little haven away from the busy shops in oxford street. They even have fruit teas that taste, well, fruity! Their pomegranate vairty is a corker. Make sure to grab a cronut while you’re at it.
