Sam’s Riverside and Waterside: Spooky Cocktails
Sam’s Riverside and Waterside have launched two cocktails for Halloween this year, available exclusively from the 25th to the 31st of October.
For true Autumnal flavours, the first of the two is the Spiced Pumpkin Sour, made with bourbon, pumpkin spice syrup, lemon juice and aquafaba, all perfectly balanced and combined in an old fashioned glass, with spiced sugar dust and dehydrated orange.
If you’re feeling braver, try matching their Hostile Stare: Tequila, lychee syrup and lime, served in a highball glass, with a frozen lychee and blueberry ‘eyeball’ with a shot of cassis liqueur poured at the table.

Bamboo Mat Stratford: New Halloween Menu
Bamboo Mat Stratford have launched an exclusively spooktacular Halloween menu, full of mouth-watering Japanese-Peruvian delights to tickle your tastebuds, so bring a date or some mates and try out some of their hauntingly unique treats, running Friday 25th – Thursday 31st October.
Try out their crispy, sweet and rich Pumpkin Tempura with shichimi togarashi, truffle oil and lime, the Nikkei Pumpkin Maki, with cream cheese, salmon, pumpkin, ceviche chilli sauce and mixed cress, and If you’re feeling bold, the Beef Heart Skewersmight be for you. With a lean, gamey taste from the beef hearts, complemented by anticucho sauce, pickled mushrooms and chives, it’s certainly got some frightfully good flavours. For dessert, give their adorable pumpkin-shaped Chocolate Mousse a go – which is sure to be all over Instagram this October!
Wash it all down with a choice of two autumnal drinks: the Pumpkin Spritz, with pumpkin syrup, prosecco, mint and soda water, or the Halloween Surprise with gin, gomme, lime and merlot.

Emerald Hospitality Group: Riviera, Zuaya & Como Garden
This year, The Emerald Hospitality Group is hosting a Halloween takeover at three of their stunning restaurants Riviera, Zuaya and Como Garden on the 25th of October, all with a different spooktacular theme.
Riviera, the beautiful Southern French restaurant and bar in Mayfair are hosting a Gothic Parisian Masquerade on the 25th of October to celebrate Halloween alongside creative and fresh flavours straight from the Cote D’Azur. After dinner, there will be an after party with a saxophonist and DJ, as well as bottle service and masks, so guests can masquerade to their heart’s content.
One of London’s finest Latin American restaurants, Zuaya in Kensington, will be haunted by the Phantom of the Opera for the evening. Guests will enjoy a range of Pan-Latin small plates and creative cocktails in a beautiful, bright and botanical setting, along with live music, and staff immersively dressed like Christine and the Phantom himself.
If you’re feeling more Italian, try out Como Garden’s Venetian Masquerade ball. A range of sharing plates is on offer, including classic pastas, pizzas, antipasti, grilled, fried, and marinated meats, fish and seafood, and salads.
