    Compton Cross Review

OnIn.London recently visited The Compton Cross, which is the re-imagining  of well loved Soho pub Molly Moggs. Now we were regulars at Molly Moggs, so had a lot of memories there but we were keen to see how The Compton Cross would live up. We were pleased that The Compton Cross would be paying homage to Molly Moggs’ roots with twice weekly Drag Queen shows. These shows take place Wednesday nights from 8pm and Sundays from 6pm. Entertainment is free but reserving tables in advance is recommended. While the makeover has done wonders to the bar, it is still one…

    Up The O2 Review

Still need to get that last minute Christmas gift, why not try thinking outside the box. Or rather outside the O2 Arena. Climbing the O2 is a pretty amazing experience. Knowing that you are literally standing above where many, many famous performers have been, including the likes of Queen with Adam Lambert, Ed Sheeran and Beyonce. Not to mention events like the Olympics, basketball, ice hockey etc. just to name a few. How exciting is that? The crew from Up at The O2 are exceptionally helpful to all from start to finish. If you are afraid of heights (like myself),…

Ice Skating At Hampton Court Palace Review

It’s that time of year again! There’s a chill in the air, a little frost on the ground and the leaves have all but disappeared. One of my favourite activities, outdoor ice-skating, has just begun. How do you choose from the many stunning places around London? Well, why not think just a little further outside the city centre and try skating in front of a beautiful palace? That’s right, you can skate in front…

    The Balcon Weekend Brunch Review

I have to admit I rarely travel into Central London at Christmas time. Love the lights and general good vibes but have a deep hatred of crowds and extreme queuing. That being said, an invite to sample the new weekend brunch menu at Pall Mall’s ‘The Balcon’ was an offer too good to turn down. Staring through the window at a beautiful Christmas tree on Pall Mall with the snow sprinkling down, I had one of those ‘I love this city’ moments. We started with ice cold glasses of champagne served in elegant tall stemmed flutes, as we perused…

    Slava’s Snow Show Review

Last night saw the return of the amazing Slava’s Snowshow for an unprecedented fifth season at the Southbank Centre Royal Festival Hall.
