Skylight Canalside

As summer arrives in London, locals and visitors alike spill out onto the streets, squares and gardens of this great city to frolic in the sun.

East London’s Skylight Rooftop have expanded their outdoor offering by partnering up with streetfood pioneers KERB and launching Skylight Canalside.  The new location at Tobacco Dock features the usual waterside beer garden vibes of picnic tables, parasols, garden games and a pirate ship.

Each month will see two new KERB food trucks parked up including the likes of Authentic Neapolitan Pizzas from Fundi and italian inspired burgers from Tongue ‘N cheek. 

The On In London team visited Skylight Canalside to bask in the sunshine with a couple of cocktails and dinner. Alas the weather had different plans that day, as the rain appeared, the Skylight Canalside team ensured all seating was moved into their sheltered area. Luckily this didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits, we still had an enjoyable evening eating steak and chips and enjoying a few glasses of aperol spritz and beer. 

Tables of 6 are available to book on Saturdays throughout the summer, until 7th August. The tables are £10 to secure for a group of 6 for a 2-hour 45 minute session, from 12pm, 3pm and 6pm. Table service is available throughout the venue for both food and drink.
