Watch the amazing Lionesses take on Spain this February

England will take on Spain at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 26th February in their first home tie of the Women’s Nations League this year. In a fitting tie, the reigning European Champions will take on the current UEFA Women’s Nations League holders and World Champions for the first time since Spain lifted the World Cup in Australia in 2023.

Encounters between the two sides are always even, with just one goal often being the difference, but last time this match was played on home soil, England beat Spain 2-1 in extra time of the Euros 2022 quarterfinals. England and Spain have some of the best talent in the world, made clear by 8/11 of FIFPRO World XI being Spanish of English footballers, so the game proves to be a huge spectacle as the Lionesses continue their journey towards 2025’s finals in Switzerland.
