Artesian’s Final take over

Following a very successful run, Anna Sebastian, Bar Manager of Artesian, has added an extra date to the Take Over series. The November 5th event will be an extra special eddition, boasting an all-female takeover to highlight the talent and insight of leading women within the bar industry.

Running throughout October, the series has caused a lot of excitement, featuring some of the world’s best bars and their bartenders, including The Clumsies and Manhattan Bar. Bar Manager Anna Sebastian is now taking this opportunity to elevate some of her industry peers who are excelling in a space traditionally perceived as male-dominated. “I think it is important especially now to recognise and celebrate women within the bar industry. Gone are the days when women only work as waitresses in bars, they are now the creative leaders behind some of the world’s best bars.

Starting at 7.30pm the evening will shine a light on those at the top of their game, combining the resident Artesian team and female guest bartenders. The cocktail list will be an impressive one to match the talented bartenders, with a variety of classics such as Ada ‘Coley’ Coleman’s Hanky Panky, (the sweet Martini with bitter undertones created by the first female head bartender of the Savoy) running alongside modern-day interpretations such as Gin Blossom by Julie Reiner and Old Cuban by Audrey Saunders – some of NYC’s finest bartenders.

Guest Bartenders confirmed so far:
Pippa Guy – ex-American Bar, Savoy | Veronika Di Pietrantonio – Lyaness | Nicole Sykes – Lyaness | Kaitlin Wilkes – Berkeley Bar | Megs Miller – FAM bar | Sophie Bratt – Aqua | Keila Urzaiz de Calignon – Satan’s Whiskers | Camille Vidal – La Maison Wellness | Sara Moudoulaud – Divine, Paris | Claire Best – Amathus, Plus many more

Cocktails will be priced at £14 which will include a £1 donation to charity, Healthy Hospo – a charity that works to build a healthier, happier, more sustainable hospitality industry tackling mental health and wellness through online education and workshops.
