Beautython is back

Beauty lovers get excited because this month Covent Garden will be bringing its ten-day beauty extravaganza, Beautython, back to the city. From in-store events and exclusive product launches by some of our favourite brands ever – think Dior, Tom Ford, and Diptyque to name a few, as well as demonstrations, panels and late night shopping to cater to your every beauty desire.

Kicking off on Thursday 13th September with a panel discussion co-hosted by some of the beauty world’s most influential voices talking about what beauty means to them, there’s a whole host of exciting things going on until 23rd September.

We’ve been told to expect a takeover of Covent Garden’s iconic Piazza floral swings, a Central Avenue pop-up beauty bazaar, as well as in-store makeup masterclasses from some of the finest makeup artists around.

It doesn’t just stop there as shoppers and beauty buffs are invited to sample beauty product-inspired cocktails and dishes from some of the participating restaurants – including Jo Malone London’s partnership with The Ivy Market Grill on a Honeysuckle Daquiri cocktail available from Monday 10th September until Saturday 29th September.

And if you’re feeling lucky, subscription-based beauty brand GlossyBox will be taking subscribers and Covent Garden shoppers on a beauty hunt on Thursday 13th and Thursday 20th September with golden tickets hidden waiting to be discovered. Prizes include bundles worth £50 or more which can be spent on the likes of NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Miller Harris, Blink Brow Bar, Molton Brown and more.

There will even be an opportunity to support charitable causes, so if you’d like to get involved you can donate unused toiletries, clothes and toys via a beauty bank in Covent Garden supporting non-profit charity, Give and Makeup, whose purpose is to get everyday essentials into the hands of women and children who need them the most.
