Tell Your Friends Review

Created by sisters Lucy and Tiffany Watson (of Made In Chelsea fame), Tell Your Friends is a fresh new restaurant gracing the ever growing dining experiences for Vegan Londoners. The duo are part of a growing number of young people ditching animal products altogether in favour of a vegan diet, but in doing so are well aware of the challenges of finding great vegan food. Tell Your Friends intends to demystify veganism and showcase just how tasty and accessible it can be.

From entering this cute dining spot situated in Fulham Broadway, the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant gives a warm and inviting sense of the culinary delights in store. 

The menu gives a nice range of choices of vegan starters, mains and desserts as well as mouthwatering alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. All ingredients are fresh and diverse to suit every palette. 

I have been to a number of vegan restaurants in the city none have quite been able to create imitation meat textures and taste like Tell Your Friends does.  A great example of this is the ‘chicken bites’  from the starters, made with jackfruit which gives the exact texture and flavour of chicken. For mains I had the pleasure of enjoying a mouthwatering (literally) burger which is hands down one of the best plant based burgers I have tasted. I almost had to reassure myself I was actually eating vegan and not meat. There are a number of sides to compliment your dish but be prepared for the very generous serving sizes. 

If your belly has the space to squeeze in dessert, there is a number of sweet delights to choose from including the crumble as well as a selection of fresh donuts and pastries. I went for the peanut butter blondie, which was sinfully sweet!

With the amount of vegan restaurants on the rise Tell Your Friend’s compliments perfectly on to this list of new vegan restaurants. Not only does it have a colourful menu, the portions serve as great value for money considering the quality of service and taste you receive. 

Something tells me that this may become my new regular vegan Friday night spot…
