Blank Street’s Gifting Grotto pop-up

This festive season, Blank Street is inviting Londoners to rediscover the magic of Christmas past with a nostalgic gifting pop-up. The Blank Street Gifting Grotto is the brand’s first ever holiday experience and will take place at the London Outernet for three days only.

I attended this morning and browsed the brand’s limited-edition merchandise. This year Blank Street’s theme is a classic and nostalgic Christmas reminiscent of opening stockings and sitting in front of the TV with family watching festive classics. Gifts include:, boxer shorts (£16), calendar (£25), playing cards (£7) and a trinket tray (£12). There’s even a nod to fan-favourite Blank Street drinks with the Blueberry Matcha bauble (£6) and the blueberry matcha and white chocolate matcha candles (£28). There’s three novelty mugs (£12 each) with one in the style of the 1980s wedding of the then Prince Charles and Princess Diana but celebrating the blueberry matcha! Of course there’s also matcha powder (£20) and the limited-release blend Secret Family Recipe (£18).

With Christmas right around the corner, it could be a perfect Christmas gift for someone…or yourself! Once you’ve found the perfect gift, head to the gift wrapping station for that extra special touch. I can’t wait to try my white chocolate matcha candle- I imagine it will smell divine on cozy winter evenings.

All customers will also receive free samples of the delectable vanilla fudge matcha to beat the cold. I was able to sample this last week at Blank Street’s TV dinner and found it warming, velvety drink. On my second tasting I can see why this was a firm favourite at last week’s dinner. I was also fortunate to try the White Chocolate Matcha, which was more creamy. My only complaint is I wished there was more as it went down so quickly.

Blank Street’s Winter menu is available now in Blank Street stores across the UK. Alongside the vanilla fudge matcha, there’s also a honey macadamia latte and the chocolate orange mocha.
