Wednesday night, I attended the iconic Borderline in Soho which has recently relaunched. Since the late 1980’s, Borderline has seen huge musicians such as R.E.M, Rolling Stones, Oasis and Eric Clapton play on stage. It’s an institution for indie music lovers, punk music lovers and good old rock and roll music lovers.
The relaunch of Borderline will again allow new and upcoming artists along with big name performers to again grace the stage. The venue itself is fresh and updated with a comfy cocktail lounge area, and funky Mexican inspired décor. I particularly loved the colorful collection of skulls scattered throughout the venue.
In addition to live music Borderline will feature an accessible yet progressive club programme. It’s all pretty cool, which was the general consensus from the people we met and spoke to on the night. For a venue that’s steeped in musical history, it’s bound to continue to make more… Visit www.borderline.london to discover the line-up and book tickets to shows now.
