Bottomless Brunch at M Restaurant – Review

Early afternoons on a weekend are made for either mooching around London or enjoying a bottomless brunch with friends and loved ones. We are always up for doing both, and last weekend we opted for a bottomless brunch at M Restaurant on Threadneedle Street. Located in the centre of the city, but tucked away on a side street, hidden away from the noise of the capital.

Brunching at M Restaurant is similar to the brunch parties in Dubai, as soon as you walk through the door you are hit with a live DJ set, glamorous looking people, all beaming with smiles and having a good time. When we arrived we were also greeted with a live saxophone performance. It was the party vibe we’ve been missing in the last 18 months.

We were swiftly taken to our seats and given our brunch menu, the selection of delicious brunch dishes are inspired by six different countries. You can choose one or if you have a big appetite why not go for their special offer of three dishes for £30pp and of course if you want to include Prosecco it’s an extra £35.00 pp.

First thing we did was order a glass of Prosecco to kick start our weekend, I then ordered the waffle sandwich, a hot fluffy waffle, drizzled with sweet maple syrup, with bacon and a fried egg, a winning combination which M Restaurant expertly crafted. Being a huge eggs fan and knowing M Restaurant are known for their meats (look out for the glass cabinet displaying the finest cuts they have on offer) I also ordered the steak and egg. The steak was juicy, cooked perfectly and went down nicely with the fried egg. If only I had a little more room I would have also opted for the pancake stack, but on this occasion, two brunch dishes did the trick! My advice is to come hungry and order three for £30pp, it’s great value for money!

Drinks flowed throughout the bunch, but not excessively, as I had a weekend packed full of things to do, so still needed to keep a levelled head. M Restaurant in Threadneedle Street, is modern, stylish and an absolute treat of a place to spoil yourself and have fun!
