RUN FIRST. SOCIALISE AFTER. OUTD00R BREWING INVITES LONDONERS TO ITS FIRST RUN CLUB AND (CRAFTED FOR) ‘AFTER PARTY’
As more Londoners swap evenings at the pub for miles with a run club, Outd00r Brewing is inviting anyone looking to get moving and meet new people, to discover why the best part of a run doesn’t have to be the finish line.
On Wednesday 29th July in, at 6pm, the alcohol-free beer brand, backed by HEINEKEN UK, is teaming up with Progress Running to host its first ever ‘crafted for after’ community run and social – bringing together movement, music and socialising for an evening designed to celebrate everything that comes after the workout.
Starting with a relaxed 5K through the streets of Shoreditch, runners of all abilities, will finish back at Progress Running, where the store will transform into a post-run social complete with complimentary Outd00r Brewing, a live DJ, sports massages, exclusive goodie bags and prize giveaways.
As wellness communities continue to grow across the UK – from run clubs to sauna socials and socialising at the gym – Outd00r Brewing is responding to a new generation of social occasions. Crafted specifically for active lifestyles, the isotonic 0.0 lager combines electrolytes and vitamin C with great taste, bringing together movement, community and the moments that come after.
Whether you are chasing a new personal best, looking to meet like-minded runners, or simply fancy soaking up the atmosphere after work, everyone aged 18+ is welcome to join the free event bookable via an Eventbrite page here. Tickets must be booked in advance and are available on a first come first serve basis.
Katie Park, Head of Beyond Beer at HEINEKEN UK, said: “Running has become about so much more than exercise. It’s become one of the biggest ways people connect, meet new friends and spend time together, and we wanted to celebrate everything that happens after the run as much as the run itself. Outd00r Brewing was created for those moments of recovery and connection, and our ‘Crafted for After’ event brings that to life in a fun and welcoming way.”
The event begins at 6pm, with runners meeting at Progress Running to check in, leave bags and warm up before setting off at 6:15-6:30pm for a socially-paced 5K through East London. Afterwards, guests are invited back to the store to continue the evening with music, refreshments and recovery.
For those unable to join Outd00r Brewing at the run, the beer brand will be hosting an exciting hydration pop-up at Waitrose, Canary Wharf. Featuring free 0.0 Outd00r Brewing beers and the chance for the public to test hydration levels. Head down to the store from 30 July – 1 August to grab a free can of the beer.
Outd00r Brewing Hydration Original Lager and Hydration Lemon (330ml) are available now from Ocado and Waitrose, RRP £2.00 per can. For more information about Outd00r Brewing, visit the website.
