CARLUCCIO’S ALL STAR DINNER UK’S TOP CHEFS COOK IN AID OF THE ANTONIO CARLUCCIO FOUNDATION

Carluccio’s in the Brunswick will be opening its kitchens for an exclusive all-star chef Italian dinner in aid of The AntonioCarluccio Foundation, with all proceeds raised going to humanitarian charity, Action Against Hunger.

On the evening of 6th November, Carluccio’s All Star Dinner will see four of the country’s most talented Italian chefs cook-up a four-course dinner for a limited number of guests. The stellar line-up consists of some of the late Antonio’s closest chef friends, including his ‘partner in crime’ and co-star of the BBC’s ‘Two Greedy Italians’, Gennaro ContaldoGiorgio Locatelli of the Michelin-starred Locanda Locatelli; Danilo Cortellini, head chef at London’s Italian Embassy; and Carluccio’s long-standing Executive Chef for over 20 years, Eric Chauvet.

The evening kicks off with an aperitivo reception, followed by four courses – each paired with wines – coffee and chocolates. Dishes on the menu include Vitello Tonnato (Danilo), Pasta ai Funghi (Gennaro), Cod with Lentils and Salsa Verde (Giorgio) and one of Antonio’s favourite desserts (Eric). There will also be an auction featuring an array of lots including some of Antonio’s personal possessions, and an overnight stay at Le Manoir Aux’ Quat Saisons for two including Raymond Blanc’s seven course tasting menu with sommelier selected wines. There will also be a number of money-can’t-buy experiences such as a day in the kitchen with Giorgio Locatelli. Dinner tickets cost £95 each with all proceeds going to the charity.

The partnership between Carluccio’s and Action Against Hunger began with Antonio Carluccio and, 12 years on, the eponymous Italian restaurant brand continues to raise funds for the humanitarian charity via The Antonio Carluccio Foundation. Established by Antonio, The Foundation is committed to supporting the work of charities in alleviating hungerworldwide whilst providing the resources, training and development needed by young, otherwise disadvantaged, cooks and chefs entering the hospitality industry. It is only fitting that the money raised from the dinner will be donated to Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian charity committed to ending world hunger.  Since 2007, Carluccio’s has raised a staggering £2m for Action Against Hunger through customer and employee-driven initiatives, including a 50p donation on the sale of one of their best-selling dishes, Penne Giardiniera.

Only a limited number of tickets for this exclusive one-off evening are available – to book Carluccio’s All Star Dinner please visit https://www.carluccios.com/event/carluccios-all-star-dinner/.
