SENTIA Partners With Love Shack To Launch Alcohol Free Cocktail Menu

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to experience the relaxing effects of alcohol without the impaired judgement or nasty hangovers? SENTIA might be just what you’re looking for. It’s well-known that many people, especially young people, are interested in socialising with less of an emphasis on drinking alcohol or even no alcohol at all, yet the interest in connecting and sharing experiences with friends remains. The makers of SENTIA know this.

So what is SENTIA? It’s an award-winning range of GABA-enhancing alcohol alternatives for modern social drinking. Rooted in science and the research of Professor David Nutt, SENTIA uses unique botanical blends designed to target the brain’s GABA system. GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid) is a natural brain neurotransmitter that helps you relax, engage socially and build connections with others. While alcohol boosts GABA, it also affects the rest of the brain; SENTIA, on the other hand, targets the GABA system alone.

For a limited time only until the 8th August, SENTIA has partnered with Love Shack, a quirky and eclectic vegan restaurant in East London. The special menu, launched to coincide with Alcohol Awareness Week in July, includes four SENTIA serves: SENTIA Sling, SENTIA Spritz, SENTIA Pickle Back and SENTIA Sangria. My personal favourite was the SENTIA Sangria, which is made from Sentia Red, Zeno non-alcoholic wine, orange juice, raspberry shrub, fresh fruits and soda water. It tasted just as delicious as a glass of the real stuff, while still leaving me feeling fresh for work the next day. Perfect for a summer evening! The sling and the spritz cocktails were also highly refreshing, whereas the pickle back, made from SENTIA Black and complete with a pickle juice chaser, might be a good alternative to those who enjoy whiskey.

The food at Love Shack is just as delicious and pairs exceptionally well with the drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sharing plates that we tried, especially the Tofu Karage which is savoury and flavourful while still remaining a light, summer bite. The sourdough bread served alongside assorted pickles was also one of the best I’ve tasted. I would highly recommend you take a trip to East London before you miss your chance to taste test this menu!
