Carluccio’s Seasonal menu gets us feeling festive

With the arrival of winter comes an exciting new menu from Carluccio’s. Available at restaurants nationwide, the autumn/winter menu sees the introduction of some of Antonio Carluccio’s original heritage recipes. We hopped on down to the Kings Cross restaurant to check out what all the fuss was about and we were not disappointed.

From antipasti to small plates through to freshly made pasta, salads and main plates, every new dish is mindful of Antonio Carluccio’s motto of MOF MOF (minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour). The new menu is a divine indulgence of rich Italian flavours, we got to sample some great dishes and washed it down with some great Italian cocktails like the Negroni.

For those of you who are a little nostalgic Carluccio’s have not taken off some of their signature dishes. Even with the seasonal menu, I had to indulge in the Arancini, and honestly they are divine. Other additions include five new antipasti dishes, perfect for sharing, with choices including Pugliese Burrata, a Salumi Plate, offering a regional selection of cured meats with fresh focaccia, and Polpette, beef meatballs in a tomato sauce with a Parmigiano Reggiano served on grilled ciabatta.

If you are looking for the perfect place to have that Christmas dinner with your colleagues or friends and dread the thought of eating more turkey, I would highly recommend you get down to a Carluccio’s. Celebrate the season with excellent food and great service.
