Casamigos Celebrate National Tequila Day

On Tuesday the 24th of July, we attended a Casamigos’ event to celebrate National Tequila Day. The fabulous Perception Bar at the W London Hotel in Leicester Square hosted the evening and it was an absolute hit.

We made Casamigos’ amazing classic light margarita in master classes taught by Jack Brooksbank and Sam Plummer. These were so delicious we just had to share the recipe below.

CASAMIGOS MARGARITA LIGHT

2 oz. Casamigos Blanco

1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz. Agave Nectar

2 Dashes of Orange Bitters

Garnish with an orange wheel

Combine all ingredients into tin shaker. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds. Strain into rocks glass. Garnish.

Pitcher Measurements (60 oz.) – Makes 5 cocktails

10 oz. Casamigos Blanco

5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

2.5 oz. Agave Nectar

10 Dashes of Orange Bitters

Garnish with 5 orange wheels

Combine all ingredients into 60 oz. pitcher. Fill to top with ice. Stir with bar spoon for 6-8 people.

During the evening we also sipped on other classic Casamigos’ cocktails including the Paloma and The Spice Boy. A perfect evening as always when your with the #houseoffriends Casamigos.
