This festive season, Pravaas invites you on a vibrant culinary journey with Chef Patron Shilpa Dandekar’s specially crafted festive menu. The menu blends Indian spices with seasonal ingredients, resulting in a set menu of delicious, innovative dishes. Nestled in the heart of South Kensington, this gem offers a feast

True to Shilpa’s signature style, the menu showcases an exciting fusion of traditional flavours with contemporary flair, and unsurprisingly, pigs in blankets are nowhere to be seen. To start, guests can choose from delightful dishes bursting with flavour such as confit duck leg chaat tartlets; chicken tikka terrine with coriander and horseradish chutney served with pickled onion salad; pan-seared scallops with parsnip puree, blood orange and ginger, and cinnamon sauce; confit lamb rillettes on spicy black pepper masala with red millet idli; or wild mushroom tossed in mustard, curry leaves, coconut and kafir lime, finished with truffle butter.

For your main, you can expect rich, bold and unique dishes as festive favourites are reimagined with
Indian accents. Think lamb loin Wellington with black pepper and curry leaf mushroom duxelles, fondant potatoes, asparagus tips and chilli Rogan lamb jus; pan-seared halibut fillet with brown shrimps and crushed garlic baby potatoes with mussels and saffron sauce; roasted courgette stuffed with spiced chickpeas, peppers, spinach and cheese, creamy yoghurt and cashew sauce with red cabbage potato Mousseline ; and roasted chicken breast which as been cured with thyme, black pepper and juniper berries served with bread sauce, brussels sprout porial and a cardamom, brown onion and cashew gravy.


A festive evening out simply wouldn’t be complete without some indulgent desserts such as a trio of figs featuring fig halwa, crepe dentelles, confit figs, and traditional vanilla ice cream with spiced fig sauce, or rum flambéed warm Christmas pudding with brandy butter and cold saffron custard.
