Comfort launches Swap Shop
Laundry brand Comfort has announced a new initiative aimed at encouraging people to make more sustainable fashion choices. Over five days, from 18th – 22nd July, they will set up (swap) shop on Brewer Street in the heart of Soho in partnership with ELLE and Cosmopolitan. There, visitors will have the opportunity to bring their unwanted clothes and swap them for pre-loved items donated by the two magazines (from their fashion cupboards!) as well as by national charity Oxfam.
In addition to the shopping-less wardrobe refresh, the event will feature workshops led by Sairey Stemp, Cosmopolitan senior fashion editor and Molly Haylor, ELLE accessories editor, who will talk about how to care for your clothes and get creative with what you already own, as an antidote to fast fashion and over consumption.
