Usually found curating monthly tours of contemporary art across London, Contemporary Key provide an insightful yet accessible look into the contemporary art world. Each tour focuses on a specific area of the city; we visit galleries, artist studios and creative spaces, highlighting both established artists and exciting new talent. The social aspect of the tour is also key; beginning at a café for a coffee and ending at a bar for something a little stronger, Contemporary Key tours are aimed at young professionals who are keen to explore London’s unique culture and meet like-minded people.
This November, Contemporary Key will be curating a one-off exhibition on Wednesday 26th November.
Their most exhibition brings together the works of Emilie Pugh and Alice von Maltzahn. The two artists work predominantly with paper – building, burning and manipulating the material to make beautiful voids, constructions and organic forms.
The exhibition will be held at The Asylum, Peckham – a unique backdrop for the artists’ interventions.
