COYA ANGEL COURT REVIEW
Bank is the location where you can find the new COYA Restaurant and Pisco Bar bringing the Peruvian style to London’s East. Being the second of its kind in London, COYA now brings its bespoke decor to Bank at the base of the brand new 24-storey complex in Angel Court. COYA launched its first London restaurant in Piccadilly on 15th November 2012 and it only took 2 years to earn the title ‘Best Restaurant of the Year’ at the London Lifestyle Awards.
Setting foot in the door lights up the senses as your introduced to some stunning visuals and amazing smells wafting over from the restaurant. The Pisco Lounge does not disappoint in the style and class category either with a range of premium spirits and cocktails including the signature South American classic Pisco Sour. Chilli margherita is another cocktails option or you can choose to indulge in some rare premium wines. If none of those tick the box, how about a unique ‘Rum Round Table’ where guests can enjoy a bottle of fine rum on this exclusive hand carved table accommodating up to six people.
Executive chef Sanjay Dwivedi oversees the Peruvian Restaurant offering a refreshing and healthy menu with European and Asian twist. From seafood to steak, this restaurant provides the highest quality of flavour and freshness that will leave your taste buds craving more. Throughout the night it was hard to get your hands on the canapes but the selected few I consumed were incredible and the sample of the steak was by far the best steak I have experienced in Europe so far. COYA Angel court will offer an express menu to churn out premium dishes in fraction of the time. Local company’s employees should utilise this and enjoy a top-class meal without overdoing the lunch hour.
Overall COYA is a terrific night out for a group of friends after a delicious meal and satisfying cocktails.Coming into the summer months COYA will be your perfect day-night venue, check out the experience in Angel Court and grab an amazing steak, you will not be disappointed.
