Crystal Maze Review

OnIn.London was lucky enough to attend the press preview of THE CRYSTAL MAZE LIVE EXPERIENCE! Yes you heard right. Following three almost sellout years in Islington, the Trip Advisor 5-star rated attraction is now open Shaftesbury Avenue.

Our team consisted of four ONIN.London writers and a lovely family of three we were paired with. Our team dashed through the Maze’s Medieval, Aztec, Industrial and Futuristic adventure zones guided by an eccentric Maze Master. Ours on the evening was the dashing Prince Richard Rider. Tounge in cheek humour was present throughout the evening as we aimed to win as many crystals as possible by completing various challenges; skill, physical, mental and mystery. Each crystal won means more time in the iconic dome, where the goal is to catch enough golden tickets to bag yourself a spot on the coveted leader board!

We did manage to collect 8 crystals out of the 16 games we played with each of my team mates winning at least one crystal each. Myself, I’m ashamed to admit wasn’t as successful. I was really close though!

The whole experience was extremely fun as we crawled, run and slid our way through the maze. After successfully escaping the maze, we were able to spend the rest of the evening in the new Maze Bar. Theres a variety of drinks available but the gin cocktails are not to be missed. Also make sure you try the burgers available – they are one of the best burgers I’ve tried in London.

Crystal Maze Live now also has all day opening hours and on-the-day ticket purchases. The Maze will also be open to younger audience members by offering games for 13 years old and up.

All visits must be booked in advance by visiting https://the-crystal-maze.com… so what are you waiting for book your tickets now! Tickets are from £54.95 on weekdays and £64.95 on weekends. You will have the best time so make sure you get your tickets ASAP, they’re bound to sell out.
