DOSE & Ministry of Sound Fitness Riding High Review

If you enjoy a spin class, you will love a spin rave!! This is exactly what DOSE and Ministry of Sound fitness have paired up to bring you. DOSE is a London community for healthy hedonists who are pairing up with Ministry of Sound Fitness to present Riding High. A week-long party on a bike. Providing the modern hedonism with cannabis facials, Heineken 0.0 and a major endorphin rush. A wonderful way to enjoy all the highs without the hangovers or comedowns.

This week-long party runs between Monday 17thSeptember through to Friday 21st September at the famous Ministry of Sound Club in Elephant & Castle. World renowned coaches will be joined by live MCs and performers leaving the class in a state of endorphin driven euphoria.

Onin London were lucky enough to attend the opening night with a nostalgic 90’s throwback ride. We popped on our headbands and got spinning. The music was an absolute winner, with throwbacks to the Backstreet Boys and MC Hammer. These tunes kept you going throughout the class. The energetic and enthusiastic coaches kept the fun going with all the dance moves being performed on the bike. It was one tough class, but an absolute blast. The throwback tunes lined up perfect with the various stages of the class. I cannot wait to go back on Thursday for the Hip Hop performance ride. This class will be led by legendary trainer Melissa Weldon where we will bust some moves to Missy Elliot, Drake and Beyoncé.

Prior to our class we got to enjoy some lovely tea from Pukka Vitalise. A rich and vibrant nutritional blend of 30 organic ingredients to help maintain your energy levels. A nice boost prior to the class.

After our spin class we got to enjoy some Heineken 0.0. The non-alcoholic low-calorie beer that you can enjoy without the hangover. There is nothing better than a cold beer after a hard workout and at only 69 calories why not appreciate one.

Plus, in the spirit of hedonism, Murad, offer post-workout stress-busting facials from their new range infused with Cannabis extracts. Providing an instant pick-me-up after the class.

Other nights include the following – Tuesday fire-starters class has live beatboxers for a drum & bass ride to The Prodigy of course; Wednesday is Diva Night where you can shake your booty with a team of hula-hoopers; and Friday goes Old Skool with UK garage tunes from Craig David to So Solid. This is followed by an ultimate garage after-party to wrap up the week.

Sessions all week are split between morning and evening with times: 6:30am, 7:45am, 6:15pm and 7:15pm.

No egos, just a community sweating their faces off every day of the week, living for the moment, losing themselves in the music and getting stringer mentally and physically as a result.
