Thursday night, OnIn.London visited the opening of Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington, which is the largest property in the extended-stay brand’s European portfolio.It is situated in a prime position in Earls Court and contains 319 suites.The property’s spacious one- and two-bedroom suites include separate living, working and sleeping areas, designed specifically for longer stays. Guests will have access to fully-functional kitchens, complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TVs, USB plug points and a work desk space to help maximise their time during long stays. Complimentary breakfast is also served seven days a week, while the Grab’n Go market and Fitness Centre are both open 24/7. There is also a grocery delivery service available which is perfect for when you don’t have the time to go shopping.

During the evening we got to witness the fully-functional kitchens in action. It was pretty cool as we were shown how easy it is to create Sweet Potato Toast and cupcakes in the comfort of your room. We had an enjoyable evening witnessing the wonders of the new Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington. The bar, food and weekly changing street food vendors were a joy to behold during the entire evening.

Suites at the Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington are available from £90 plus tax, so pretty decent prices for long term stay accommodation.
