Evans & Peel will open a new 1920’s hidden bar
Evans & Peel are set to open a new 1920’s prohibition-style bar and restaurant disguised as an old London pharmacy in West London’s Chiswick, five years since the opening of their infamous ‘Detective Agency’ bar.
The bar will have a secret entrance fronted by a 1920’s themed pharmacy. Guests will ring the doorbell and be greeted by the legendary pharmacist; it is then their task to make their way into the secret bar.
There will be secret passwords for those in the know; these guests they will be escorted straight into the bar through the pharmacy, as the windows simultaneously black out to preserve its secret identity.
We’re pretty excited to see this hidden bar which will be styled with vintage furniture giving guests the feel of walking into a 1920’s pharmacy. We also can’t wait to try the extensive cocktail list and small plates of 1920’s American classics.
The bar and restaurant will open from Monday 21st August for soft launch. There’s a few special offers which we’re excited to share with our ONIN.London readers. From 21st – 27th August anyone who makes a reservation and follows the Evans & Peel Pharmacy Facebook and follows @evansandpeel Instagram will receive 30% off their total bill within a 90 minute appointment. Guests can get 50% off at the Pharmacy if they visit the Evans & Peel Detective Agency and ask for the Penicillin prescription from the Detective.
